Fished 5wt line on the San Juan in the wind and it worked great. Threw a nymph rig, tiny dries and a couple of heavy streamers. Line cast all three setups just fine.

I have this on my small stream 4wt set up and think it’s great. I have the more expensive SA Mastery Trout line on my 5wt and have not noticed any difference in quality. Same taper but cheaper. Seems like a good deal to me.

This is a great line for the money. Have it on my 3wt Battenkill reel and it cast great. Would definitely recommend this brand.
