Best all around line you can get

I fell in love with SA's GPX line years ago, and this is the new rendition of that taper. I tend to favor medium-fast rods over the fast to super fast rocket launchers. They call this line a half size heavy, but it's more like 1/3 heavy so it loads a medium-fast rod perfectly without overloading. I keep a few different lines spooled up for particular situations, but this line is on the main spool for every reel I have from 4wt to 9wt. 9wt is hard to find too. This is one of the few places I've found it in stock.

This is another great line from SA. I used it to replace my GPX taper. I use it for steelhead and have been very happy.

Great all around line for any fast to medium-fast rods. Used on multiple setups, dries, double nymph rigs, dry droppers, it does it all. Line on one of my reels is 4yr old now, still feels and casts great.

Use it for my euro nymphing set up, slings dries well and loads rod well. Would love to see more though.

Well, when I inspected my 8-year old SA WF5F there were cracks in the exterior and I had used it so much, the lime green on the head section had faded to a pale willow. It was so old, I don't even remember what model it was. Imagine my surprise when the new MPX, (being a 1/2 size heavy and slick as can be) shot out of the guides on my first double haul. Wow, what a difference. Love this line...I will definitely remember what model on next replacement! Outstanding performance.

I have this line in a 7 wt paired with a Echo BA glass rod. This line provides an exceptional feel which leads to more competent and intentional casting when paired with the fiberglass rod. Does an above average job of throwing a variety of fly sizes. I would recommend this to anyone.

This line is a little more expensive than my trout line, but it is worth it. I have this in 8 wt. and it is a blast to fish with. I throw streamers and bass flies with ease. No regrets.
