The Scientific Anglers Trout Line is one of the best trout lines I've used. I like the presentation I'm able to achieve with this line. It casts well. I think this is a good all-around line that I will use for a long time -- I've read it's durable!

This is my go-to trout line. I really, really like this line and the way that it balances delicate presentations with the kind of castablity that suits a wide range of fishing situations. The long belly of the line is great for distance casting, but it loads up well in close. I primarily fish moderate action rods that do best with true-to-weight lines, and this is great. I've found it to be more durable than major competing line makers, and it floats really well. It also shoots through the guides really nicely. There isn't much I'd do differently if I could design my own fly line. I think Scientific Anglers knocked it out of the park with this one.
