    SIMMS FREESTONE WADING BOOT, RUBBER

Simms Freestone Boot has a proven record of durability and traction in rocky rivers around the world. It provides the support underfoot and at the ankle for negotiating slick, unseen river bottoms. The synthetic uppers take the abuse of brush, rock and water in stride, while a cushioned midsole and partial neoprene lining provide all-day cushioning and warmth. A very popular seller for overall comfort, durability, and longevity through many seasons.

    FEATURES
    • Waterproof synthetic leather & scratch rubber upper
    • Partial neoprene lining
    • Dual‐density EVA midsole for shock absorption

To allow proper room for the neoprene stockingfoot, find your regular shoe size in the right-hand columns and order the corresponding Simms Boot in the first column. This will typically be one size up from your normal shoe size for men and one size down for women (ie: a women's USA size 8 would take a men's boot size 7).

(Simms Boot size 5 will fit a Youth Size 4, etc.)

I have recently made the switch from korkers to the Simms freestone wading boots. I found myself replacing the soles way too often and it just wasn’t cost effective for me. I feel that for the money, these boots are tough to beat. They really seem to grip the river bottom better than other boots that I have tried in the past. I typically wear a size 10 shoe, ordered the size 11 and the fit is perfect. Well with the money!

I would say these boots are among the best of wading boots under $200 price tag. They are way lighter than I expected and they absolutely did a great job on providing good grips on slippery surface.

Thank you Simms for making sz 16 & thank you REELFLYROD for the good price, prompt delivery & xlnt customer service. The Freestones are a sturdy well made boot @ a great price imo. Much improved over a Simms boot I had years ago. These offer hiking boot type support & have a very stable base which will help on long days afoot. Only slight negative is with neoprene lining takes a bit longer to dry but does not affect me recommending them.

These are far better than my old Simms boots. My old boots (14 years old) are still fine, but my feet have grown a tiny bit since I bought them in college, and they have become too tight. Don't get me wrong, I had the budget boots in the past, and they fact they are still running strong after all this time is a testament to their durability. These have plenty of room in the toe box, and the rubber sole helps protect the ecosystem from nasty bugs. They aren't as heavy as my old boots either, so hiking deep into blue lines will be a lot more comfortable!

Just got these for work. Super comfortable and built really solid. My cabelas brand boots fell apart after 1 year. These will last much longer. True to size with neoprene warding socks or waders. Awesome!

Nice entry level boot. I wear an 10.5 shoe and the 11 size boots fits great. Sturdy and gets the job done.

A nice entry level boot. I wore mine for over a year and they held up just fine. Biggest issue I have with them is that the soles don't have much traction on slick surfaces (without studs). I just recently upgrade to the G3 boots and once I have some more stream time, I will provide a review on them.

Sturdy boot. Pretty good traction until I find slimy rocks, I’m sure studs will help. Normally wear a 10.5 in street shoes, an 11 is working well with the thickest wool socks I have. Great boot, thanks!

I had tried some other boots like Korker greenbacks and Orvis Clearwater. I found these to be much higher quality and better built. Some brands have had issues w sole delamination. I wear a 10.5 and 11 fits perfect. Also the fit around the ankles are better than the others I tried.
