Plain and simple, most comfortable and most functional boot on the market. Bought two pairs.

Just received these in time for an upcoming trip. Never owned a Simms product before and ordered these on recommendation from reviews and others. I wear a 10.5 wide shoe size and originally ordered an 11 boot, but had seen reviews that these can run small, so decided to go up to a 12. I tried them on with some wet wading neoprene socks and the fit is good - there is slightly more room in the toe than I need, but should be fine with a little thicker sock. Very well made boot and great customer svc from RFR. thanks.

This boot model (G3's) has served me well over many years of fishing, I get about 3 to 4 years per pair. I wade fish year round. They are rock solid, and very comfortable.
I've owned other brands in the 40 years of fly fishing and I just don't bother with other brands anymore. I look at my buddies feet and see the seams splitting, rocks stuck in removable soles, or side walls collapsed. They thank me when I see them in their new GS's. I would recommend replacing the laces with Obenauf waxed boot laces, It make tightening a breeze and they last longer than the Simms laces.
