I have multiple pairs of Simms gloves, for summer and winter, they are essential and have lasted years, a great investment. In fact my wife got a pair to wear while driving to keep the sun spots at bay. Well designed and manufactured, as said, a smart well deserved part of your fishing arsenal. I have also tried Glacier Gloves and do prefer these, for the fit, feel and ease of use.

Best gloves I've used for sun protection. Excellent combo between durability and lightweight protection. Plus the leather doesn't get torn up like the regular Solarflex gloves.

Best gloves yet. I've gone through several fishing gloves and these are my favorite. Long days on the water, stripping line, can leave your hands in rough shape. Fly line will strip the moisture from your fingers leaving them dry and cracked. Then, add a nice line burn to your index finger as you set the hook on that trophy fish. You know the feeling. These will help prevent that. Lightweight material gives you plenty of feel and sensitivity. That said, be careful taking them off, before handling your fish. I've already busted a few threads ripping them off quickly in my haste to get fish back into the water.
