This is one of the most popular midge patterns. This fly provides the perfect outline of a midge larva. Midges are etremely prevelant and an important food source for trout, making this an essential fly to carry.

This midge is good for fishing brown trout in the fall, but it is so tiny and easy to misplace and loose. But the positives outweigh the negatives.

I've caught fish is really pressured water with these midges! Hold up well too because they are so simple and we'll made. Highly recommend these in your box!
