I’ve owned and used quite a few Echo rods. I see them all as a good value. They offer a good ratio of cost and performance. The Boost Beach rod is no exception. Like me, if you’ve never casted a 2-handed rod, there is a definite learning curve involved. When you get it dialed in, this rod performs as advertised. It is heavy, but not unexpected for a 12’ rod.

This is the perfect sized bag to stowaway your small electronics, wallet or even a sandwich. Easy to toss in the back of your vest or your backpack. Price could always be better... wait for a sale.

Early on in my fly-fishing days I came across this and thought it would be helpful for helping smooth out a nail knot or leader knot, which it did, but it isn't the easiest to apply.
I have since transitioned to using the perfection loop on fly lines instead of the nail knot and Knot Sense.

Have owned both the 3 wt and 4 wt model of this rod and have really liked each. For the price I highly recommend it for its durability and versatility. I fish nymphs, streamers and dries with it on a mono tightline system or regular fly line and it handles all no problem. Casts nice recovers well and has power to fight big fish.

Great rotary vise for the price, no matter whether you're a novice or commercial tyer. My only complaint has nothing to do with the functionality of the item. The black finish doesn't wear well. Even something as simple as spinning a hackle gauge will wear the finish noticeably.

This is a good leader for bass scenarios, particularly with sub-nine foot rods in tight cover. However, you can shorten Rio’s leaders and get comparable results at a lower cost.

The insert turns the 1 big hollow cavity of the sling into divided organization and is a must-have. It is well made with no sharp edges to poke through the sling fabric. One star deducted because the cost is too high for an import, and it really should be included with the sling.

Excellent streamer for big fish and open water. Lots of bunny fur. A bit too clunky and bulky for my liking (thus only four stars).

This is a high quality product for those looking for waterproof storage. It works as advertised. Like most fishpond products, though, it costs more than it should for something that is imported. For the price, it should come with the padded insert for organization.

LOTS of backbone for chucking the meaty stuff. This is not a good choice for the indivual seeking the perfect "all around" kinda rod... very niche.
