Looks quite cool, but is not very durable (color comes off quickly)

I'm a fan of the Smooth Infinity series of lines, and gave the 9wt salt version a 5-star review after a few sessions of practice casting in the back yard. However, I have to admit I've soured on this line quite a bit after putting it through its paces in the field. While it performed adequately under ideal conditions, it fell short figuratively and occasionally literally) when conditions were anything less. By day two of my trip, I had packed it away and subbed in my Rio Outbound short. Even though temps were higher than the acceptable range for the latter, it still proved the better performing line of the two.

The wader pants are made well. Not a big fan that a belt was not included. The wasit band is this weird stretchy velcro tightener.

My favorite thing about these nippers is the location of the needle for clearing hook eyes.
The cutters, are okay for a few sizes of tippet. Small 7x and 6x or doesn't get all the way through and I have to pull it to break out. Too thick and it's hard to cut. Either save some money and go cheaper or save up more money and buy a different higher end brand.

Great net.
Looks good light weight.
Made in China. That’s a
bummer.
3 stars because of origin.

With the extension added to the rod, the original outfitted reel isn't heavy enough to balance the pole out causing it to be nose heavy. I had to upgrade the reel. It's a good fix to buying an 11 foot rod. But the unbalanced part makes it uncomfortable to use.

This is my second purchase of an airflo line. It's OK but overall I am not sold on staying with airflo and just went back to rio gold to try that again.

Constructed well BUT there’s no belt, and unless your a wee bit chubby it’s impossible to tighten these beyond where the Velcro can be tucked under the back flap that the it doubles back and attaches to in the back (ie the sticky part of the Velcro)…. I know that sounds like a tongue twister but I’ll summarize by saying try these on elsewhere to check the fit before pulling the trigger here because if you can’t tighten the Velcro beyond where it’s limited to by outside material, you’re out of luck! I’d drop a little more $ on the Simms wading pants with a belt if I had it to do all over again.

Like most reviews, this reel is gorgeous. I’ve had the reel for about 6 months now but has only been fished a handful of times (I live in Florida so I don’t get to trout fish much). Here’s my problem with this reel. Like most, I’m sure your reels have taken a dunk in the River at some point. And this reel did just that in the Farmington. When I checked the reel after being submerged for a few seconds, I noticed the drag was extremely muted on both line going out and line coming in. I didn’t really fret at this point because I have a few nautilus reels that have done that but spring back after stripping some line out or just letting it dry. This reel has gone mute. Since that’s been said, field stripping this reel is a pain. There’s some sort of punch pin that you need to remove to get to the internals. I tried with a pinch with no luck. Most likely this is going back to Sage to have them check it out and be repaired. I understand this is also my fault for dunking the reel but if your wading, eventually it’s going to happen.

These are great posts in theory, but they really aren't good boots. They are comfortable, hence not getting 1 star.
Durability is horrible. Wading through rocks, mine started to wear quick and ended up covered in aquaseal. Had horrible luck getting felts not to fall off the orange plastic they were attached and would go through 2 sets of replacements a year.
Ever get into mud? These soles are coming right off and you're never seeing them again. Went back to tradition wading boots and haven't looked back.
