By all means these are an excellent boot except they come apart at the layers in the sole after approx. 50 days of use. I am 5'6" and weigh 170 lbs and wear the size 8 boots. I am not skinny but certainly not overloading them. I do fish hard every weekend and cover a good bit of water each time out. The lace innovation is completely false. The laces wore out within 30 days on all 3 pair. By the 3rd pair I knew that once the laces wore out, the soles would not be far behind. Since I bought them from my local shop I am able to turn them in for a new pair so kudos to Orvis for their warranty although I would rather just have them last 3 years and I'll gladly BUY a new pair. Very disappointed however in Orvis since I sent them an email regarding this issue after the 2nd pair fell apart and never had a response from them. This is not unique to me, I have spoken with others who are having the same failures. Next time I'm just going to ask for a store credit and buy the Patagonia boots because I went thru 2 pair of Simms G3's in the same amount of time.

I really like my Korkers, I just wish they would fix the heel strap from breaking. I am now on my third pair in two seasons. Great boot, heel strap unreliable. I am on my third pair in two season 50 days in the water.

The sighter is strong but fades with use. Also, if it gets wet the colored sections bleed on to the white.

If you like sling packs you should enjoy this one. Been using it for about a year now and it took some adjusting but now I’m easily able to tie a new rig up quickly and efficiently wherever I’m at in the river. Pack fits snug against you and yet stays very comfortable throughout a full day of fishing. A ton of space and storage for flies tiller and what not.

The spool release cap has no grip to it and is difficult to remove the spool. The reel foot will not work on a Winston reel seat.

I have run through a pack of these on my Simm's boots. They add great traction, though they have ripped out on multiple occasions. The profile seems to be prone to catching. I was disappointed after my regular walk and wades to find multiple cleats lost somewhere along the wade....

Got one season out of these before it started separating at the sole. Fished them pretty hard though so for the price I’d say they are ok. Don’t expect to much from these after a season or two and you should be fine

It was tough deciding which rod was the right one but this was without a doubt a great purchase. Can't beat it at the mid price point. Its casts great!

casts great with large and weighted flies but the running line is starting to crack behind the head of line after a month of use.

These are well made but cumbersome out on the river. But I suppose all mitts are.
