Sharp, enjoyed the wire loop device. A bit smaller than I would have liked.

I've cast this rod along with the 8wt H3F, 8wt Blackout and 9wt H3D. Of the four, the H3F was the only one that left me underwhelmed. The 8wt H3D proved powerful in accurate, but I still found myself leaning towards the 8wt Blackout and 9wt H3D. This may be a matter of personal taste, however, so don't overlook the 8wt H3D when considering your next bonefish or redfish rod.

If you are a dedicated euro only fisherman, her a sage or diamondback. If you dabble, this is perfect for you. Multiple lengths and weights available. The new model (2022) is more aestheticly pleasing than the first gen.

Casts well and shoots well. The texture does make a noise but it’s not bad. Worth the money in my opinion.

I have three of these. The first one I bought is fantastic. The other two do not have the same drag strength as the first one. I haven’t been lucky enough to hook a fish big enough to prove me wrong but with the drag maxed it feels more like my 5/6 trout reel. The first one has stopped a couple 40” stripers and all have spent more than a couple seasons in the salt and still work great.

Fitting name! Simply put it is an all-around quality fly line. Not as heavy as the Ignitor, but more power than Tropic. Of the three, it is definitely my favorite. Currently have the 8wt version paired with an 8'5" Blackout 8wt.

The taper on this line un unmatched for quick loading. If I'm being honest, spend the extra $30 for the Textured.

These gloves are very good in all regards but there are one or two things keeping them from being excellent.
The thumb pieces when extended to cover your hand frequently do not stay in place. I’ve had other mitts that are better at this, my seal skinz come to mind. Aside from this they are very warm and low profile. Overall a great option especially because I rarely need the thumbs covered when I choose this mitt. I would recommend.

I really liked the X in this model. Soft tip, lots of progressive reserve power. This is still a great rod, but I don't like the stiff tip to flex deeper into the blank. Feels like a lighter One.

Great fishing chest pack overall, except for the price. I chose the Umpqua over the fishpond because I wanted to carry extra water and maybe lunch. The larger back pack allows me to do that. It is not overly heavy when evenly loaded front and back, and it keeps my gear up and out of the water. It can be difficult to retrieve a net from the net holder one-handed.
