NEW! SIMMS DRY CREEK Z SLING PLACK
New for 2020, the Simms Dry Creek Z Sling Pack might just be the last waterproof sling you buy. Fully submersible and loaded with features, this sling can take a dunk and keep trucking meaning you know your gear will be dry when you need it most.
It all starts with the fabric. Simms constructed the Dry Creek Z Sling with 300D polyester ripstop, an outside PU coating, and inside TPU lamination giving you a base that can handle all the beating as well as all the water you can throw at it. Simms then incorperated the biggest gamechanging feature in their waterproof line-up, the TruZip waterproof zipper. The TruZip waterproof self-healing zipper gives you 100% waterproof submersible protection for all your gear without the use of traditional tooth zippers. A roomy water resistant exterior pocket gives you quick access to your keys or wallet while an internal pocket provides a spot for in-transit water bladder or laptop storage.
The Simms Dry Creek Z Sling was designed by people who fish for people who fish so you know its going to be loaded with storage features. Multiple interior mesh storage pockets provide storage thats hard to come by in other waterproof packs. Exterior lash points and built-in easy access tool storage makes sure that your nippers and hemos are right were you need then when its crunch time and that big brown is in the net. A net holster keeps your net secure while a fully cushioned shoulder strap constructed from breathable, water-resistant foam keeps you comfortable on the water. The Simms Waterproof Z Sling is one awesome pack!

I compared this to the Fishpond sling bag for the same price and ended up with the Simms sling due to weight and size. It's a little smaller and lighter than the Fishpond submersible sling bag. I carry a few fly boxes, extra leader, a couple extra tippet rings, other small accessories in the bag and still have plenty of room to carry food, packable jacket, wallet, keys, and more, and it's not too heavy even after wading for 6-8+ hours. Sometimes the zipper can take some 'heavy tugging" to get it closed, but I think that's part of having the waterproof seal and security. I've had about 5-6 full days on the river with the pack and really happy with it.

Very happy with the pack overall. I've used it 5 days on the water and my only complaint is there's no good place on the outside of the pack to put my tippet spools. It's very comfortable and light weight.

I got this for my father for his birthday since he’s been looking for a sling bag upgrade and he loves it. Large enough to hold all your gear, but comfortable enough to keep on all day and forget you’re wearing it

This sling pack is awesome. Good size that allows me to pack around everything I need. I took it out for the first time last weekend. Everything stayed dry inside after a day of wading. Decided to do a quick "dunk test" at the end of day just to see. Held it under for about a minute - no water entered the bag. Quality product.

I ordered the tan dry creek z sling pack and it is wonderful! It feels very comfortable and surprisingly, there is quite a bit of space and can fit all my fly boxes and other gear with ease. I also love the net sleeve on the outside to carry my fishpond net. You wouldn’t be disappointed if you got this!

Comfortable alternative to a vest. This bag holds a lot of gear for its size. Integrated net sheath is a big plus.

The new zipper is a huge improvement. Otherwise it's the same great Simms pack in some new colors.
