Love these boots! They're sturdy and supportive without being too heavy or "clunky." I installed the Simms hardbite studs and feel completely secure in the water. The BOA system is an added bonus saving time and hassle of tying up laces. Overall recommend these boots for anyone on the water 20+ times a year
