This is my 3rd pair of Simm's Booties. They do run on the small size and because I wear them with neoprene socks and I have bunion problems. I get them 2 sizes bigger than my shoe size. They are a lot lighter than Simms Flats Sneakers which I prefer. So far they have held up well, even after wading the Belize coral flats.

There's a lot of mixed reviews for these in regards to sizing. They only run in full sizes not half sizes and that is part of the problem. I wear an 8.5 and purchased the 9. The 9 fits great with a little room in the toes - as it should. These BY DESGIN are supposed to fit snugly. These are designed to be worn barefoot or with thin socks. There are other brands that can be worn with neoprene wader booties - these are not them - unless you go up a couple of sizes. Very well made. Thick rubber support in areas that traditionally wear out. I gave 4 stars vs 5 because I received the green color vs the gray that is shown.

I use these on Snibel Island fishing for redfish. They are very easy to clean and resist funky saltwater smell.

Runs small - ordered a size up for a perfect fit. Great for walking grass flats during flood tides, sturdy enough handle oysters if you're hopping out of kayak to stretch your legs. First pair lasted 1.5 yrs of heavy use. Rinse well with hose after each time out. Great product.

Great bootie for wading the grassy flats and good grip on the rocks too. I found the fit a little snug, I ordered true to my street shoe size, so I would recommend going one size up than street shoe. I recommend rinsing thoroughly after each use as the zip may get a little sticky if left with saltwater on. Overall very sturdy, more sturdy than a surfing bootie and well worth the investment. At the price they're pretty good value for money. Note, if you are going to be doing hardcore wading in the Seychelles or Christmas Island I would recommend going with a proper saltwater wading boot.
