S.A. fly lines are one of the best over all . They have a coating that helps keep the line moving and casting long distances . Also , last longer than some brands .

I generally switch back and forth between Rio and SA fly line. I've used less expensive fly line in the past and usually regret and wonder why I bought it. SA and Rio are more expensive lines but I have found they are worth it. This SA amplitude infinity fly line is the bomb. I purchased the 6 wt line and it cast beautifully and it will be a nice all around line for me. I think I will be hooked on SA line a little more now.

I have the 6 wt. If you are looking for a solid general purpose line you should look no further. This is a great casting line that can handle small dries to 3-4" sex dungeons.

I've been using Rio Gold on my 4, 5 and 6 weights for awhile but since trying this on my 5 I purchased for 4 and 6 weights as well. I still like the Rio and find it has a bit more finesse but this seems like it will hold up better and its smoothness helps generate line speed. Also slightly heavier than the Rio and helps to load rod just a bit faster. Highly recommend as an all around line.

Purchased the line for my 4 wt 8 foot Hardy Zephrus rod . The line loads well with this fast action rod on 20 ft as well as 60 ft . Sweet fly line

Fly line works nicely on my fast actions . Loads well and has a delicate presentation as well

Great all round taper for fast action rods.

I have this line on a Lamson Guru paired with an Orvis Clearwater 4wt. I was impressed both with nymphing and presenting dry flies. I will be adding this to my 5wt when the time comes to replace its line as well.

I've previously reviewed this line in 5wt as I paired it with my Orvis H3F.
Recently, however, I added the 7wt to my lineup and am equally impressed. I use a 10' Echo Ion XL 7wt for a variety of purposes including inshore redfish from my kayak and carp fishing closer to home. Unfortunately, the heavier WF line I use for redfish was a detriment when carp fishing. The line slap was just too much when throwing small nymphs to large carp in <2 ft of water. Result was lots of spooked fish. Switching to Infinite Smooth, my catch rate improved significantly. I can make longer, more delicate presentations to cruising and feeding fish with limited chances of spooking the fish. My first day out, this resulted in a 28" common carp, 30+" grass carp and a pair of spotted gar (24" & 32"). Great line! Well worth the price tag!!

Bought this line for my 6wt TFO Pro II primarily for throwing small streamers and nymph rigs, so far so good.
